He padded in, a massive deer in his jaws, he dumped it on the fresh kill pile and then padded back to the pine forest.

Lilac padded up towards Shadow, nudging his ribs. "You'd better eat more. Your muscles tire much more easily when you don't have enough nutrients." She pulled off an elk. "Eat this before you sleep tonight. You'll awake feeling revived." She pulled off a hawk and gently padded away towards The Healer's den, looking back at Shadow and smiling.
